Every Ladder Needs A Ladder Rung
Ladder rungs are the essence of a ladder. If the rungs are taken from a ladder, the ladder itself is completely useless. This is the reason why when purchasing a ladder, the ladder rungs need to be tested and considered a major player in the decision of what the user will buy.
As with any other part of a ladder, the rungs require periodic maintenance. When waxing the ladder to bring out its full benefits, equal diligence should be doled out to the ladder rungs. Each ladder rung should be waxed equally if not with greater care. Ladder rungs are components that could make or break the integrity of the ladder.
One of the most famous manufacturers of ladder rungs is the Wireless Solutions Company. They list their product as 476498 and have named the product as 26" WG Ladder Rung. For example, we can easily assume the Wireless Solutions Company's intention by the mark of the length in the name.
The Wireless Solutions Company has supplied a few details about their ladder rung. "Wireless Solutions offers four outstanding choices for vertical waveguide ladders, at a price that will fit your budget. Vertical rails are constructed of sturdy 2" hot-dipped galvanized steel angles. Horizontal rungs are prepunched with 7/16" holes for standard hanger kits & 3/4" holes for snap-in hanger kits."
As a quality company, the Wireless Solutions Company also releases test information, "Additional capacity is possible through use of stackable snap in hanger kits, cable blocks, or the popular Wireless Solutions co-location hangers (a TESSCO exclusive)."
Also included with their ladder rung are the Splice Plates. If that still isn't a sweet enough deal, it also includes the round or angle members of the Universal Hardware for attachment.
It should be noted that the 26" W/G Ladder Rung is available with 8 holes and generally comes with a warranty of approximately 5 years.
